#RIP: Borno’s Senator Ahmed Zanna Is Dead

Barely a month after Abia senator Uche Chukwumerije died of cancer, another Senatorm Ahmed ​Zanna​ has died today, Saturday, May 17,2015.

Zanna represented Borno central at the upper chamber, he contested and won in the elections on Saturday, March 28, 2015 to return to the Senate under the All progressives Congress (APC).

Zanna was 59 years old.

The spokesperson for the Senate, Enyinanya Abaribe, has confirmed Zanna’s death.

Zanna died in Abuja. He only just returned to Abuja on Friday, May 15, 2015 after a medical trip to the United States for an undisclosed illness which caused him to be partially paralyzed.
